How a bilingual ceremony works
It's not translation — it's one ceremony woven in two languages. And here's the part families love most: we rotate which language leads, so neither side ever feels like the translated afterthought — your abuela and your in-laws both feel like the ceremony was written for them:
- Your story — how you met, told in both languages, so both families laugh and cry at the same moments.
- Your vows — each of you speaks in the language of your heart; we bridge the rest.
- The rituals — candle ceremony, lasso (lazos), arras, ring exchange — explained so no one feels lost.
- Your families take part — readings or blessings in Spanish, English, or both.
Simple, from first message to “I do”
- Message us. WhatsApp, call or text — we reply the same day, in English or Spanish.
- We meet. A free, no-pressure first call: your story, your ideas, your questions.
- We design your ceremony. Vows, rituals, languages, readings — written with you until every word sounds like you two.
- You review the script. We send it before the wedding so you can read it calmly — edits until it's perfect. No surprises.
- We confirm the details. Time, place and plan B: everything locked in before the big day.
- The big day. We arrive early, coordinate with your photographer and step aside for the kiss photo.
- The legal part, handled. We all sign that day, we file your license within 5 business days, and your certificate arrives by mail.

Do you really celebrate in both languages?
Yes — that is our specialty. The ceremony flows naturally in Spanish and English: your story, your vows, the rituals. Nobody needs a translation whispered in their ear.
My partner's family only speaks English. Will they feel included?
Completely. Every meaningful moment is expressed in both languages, and we shape the ceremony so the bilingual flow feels emotional, never mechanical.
Can we write our own vows?
Of course — in whatever language comes from your heart. We help you shape them and bridge the languages during the ceremony.
Do you handle the legal paperwork?
Yes. We guide you through the NYC marriage license step by step, we all sign on the wedding day, and we file it with the City Clerk within 5 business days.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have a date in mind — spring and fall dates go first. But message us even if your wedding is soon; we have celebrated weddings booked just days ahead.
